Plaça Catalunya the Square of Catalonia, the link of Barcelona, where all roads start and all people meet. From here one can practically go anywhere, by means of taxis, the tourist bus, metro or by some of the most important public bus-routes in the city. Here is where some of the most prestigious shops can be visited, also some of the most modern ones.
Two of Barcelona’s most famous streets, the Rambla (a wide promenade in the old city) and the Passeig de Gràcia (a grand showcase of modernist architecture in Eixample) start at the Plaça de Catalunya.
There is gorgeous fountain in the centre of the square and some monuments in the corners. As for me, I remember parrots that you can see on the trees of this square. I even feed some.
To the east the Plaça de Catalunya is bordered by an imposing white building home to El Corte Inglés, a famous department store with branches all over Spain. The store has a wide assortment of articles ranging from food to gardening tools. You can buy brend clothes at the best price during sales. The street Passeig de Gracia is a dream for all shopaholics. It is located near the Corte Ingles and you can find all luxury brends there.
Now let’s speak about new love of fashion stars. Green color is used in the collections of so many designers, that I can’t even count. People say, that green has become new black.
I felt in love with this color, when I come to Barcelona fashion city. Of course, I promtly bought some green clothes. I personally love the khaki color, because it is the main color of military and safari style. That are extremely popular nowadays.
Today you can meet this color in Milan fashion week. You can read more in this article.
That day I chose coat and bag, that I bought in the nearby vintage market, jeans and sandals Mango and hat and top Zara.
