Living in the heart of Prague

Hello from warm, charming, and absolutely breath-taking Prague. We are finally here!

I’m happy to spend some days in this gorgeous city. I seriously can’t stop myself from taking photos of everything I see here! Some streets don’t even look real because they’re so picturesque.

Prague was on my tourist map for decades. In this city you can find everything in one place: amazing architecture, rich history, expansive green parks, varied and colorful nightlife. Being first time in Prague, I got stunned with cobblestone streets, quaint medieval houses, incredible charm of the city.

As always, I did a research about hotels in Prague. I found that there are a lot of boutique hotels which could be much better in terms of service and design than big ones. I followed my friend’s recommendation and stayed in Neruda Design Hotel.

First, I’ve checked the official site of the hotel and noticed how stylish it is compared with others in Prague. I booked a room directly on their website and got a 10% discount on a accommodation. Such an awesome bonus for clients.

We arrived at the hotel at 6 a.m. It was too early to get the room but dedicated guest relations manager did his best to provide us with complimentary early check-in. I was so tired, that it was a life-saving present for me.

We stayed in a superior room which has a queen size bed, free Wi-Fi, free exclusive bathroom cosmetics, safety deposit box, satellite TV and a minibar. I’ve read that the design of the room was inspired by a workroom of the famous writer Jan Neruda.

I couldn’t stop being surprised with the interior designed by Borek Sipek, famous architect.

I could continue speaking about the design of the Hotel, but the main feature of this beautiful place is the location. It is just 5 minutes from the Prague Castle, which lords over the city, consists of multiple sections: St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, The Story of Prague Castle, St. George’s Basilica, Golden Lane with Daliborka Tower, the Powder Tower, and Rosenberg Palace. I enjoyed walking around that area has the best panoramic view of Prague.

Apart from Castle, I recommend you to visit Petrín Park, John Lennon Wall, Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter, Letenské sady, Kutná Hora, Vyšehrad, the Zoo, dancing house, Charles Bridge, the Astronomical clock.

Prague has captured my heart and attention from the moment I arrived there. It’s a city you can keep coming back to and discover more and more along the way. Prague offers something for every kind of traveler and tourist and I definitely wished to come back soon!

It was my first time in Prague and it was an absolutely incredible trip that expanded my mind and deepened my already all-consuming love of travel.
Neruda Design Hotel made this trip even more beautiful and warm, and I hope you find yourself there someday!
