There is nothing quite as exhilarating as enjoying a holiday close to the water. So, when the opportunity arose to go on a holiday, I had no hesitation in choosing Villa Cala Rosa in Corsica.
“Every man has two countries – his own and France.” These are the inimitable words of Thomas Jefferson, ardent Francophile and third President of the United States. These words are so true because there is no on earth with the same inspiration for travelers as France.
On our way to Corsica, we decided to pass through Italy. We spent a few days in Golfo Aranci in hotel Gabbiano Azzurro. This hotel is stunning. It looks like a little Italian paradise in the best part of Sardinia.
I was always dreaming about visiting Istanbul, the city with a rich history and one of the only cities in the world to straddle two continents (Europe and Asia).
Visiting Cappadocia and seeing the hot air balloons rise in the morning with the sun has been one of the most amazing traveling experience I’ve had to date. Turkey is so picturesque and full of magic, that words are not enough to describe the beauty of it. Yes, that’s one of the reasons why I never ended up writing about this place, but I will give it a try.
I always love exploring Austria, as it’s filled with so many jaw-droppingly beautiful destinations. In particular, the Zell am See region is known to be a historic and cultural location – and as soon as I heard this I knew I wanted to visit! Grand Hotel Zell am See is renowned in the area, so this is where we planned to stay at.
As we continued our European explorations, we were excited to visit Hotel Bergheimat in Mühlbach, Austria. We’d heard many great things about it, and were keen to reach there as soon as we could!
For the final two days of our Bali holiday, we chose to stay at The Pavilions – an exquisite hotel in a quiet area called Sanur. It ended up being one of our favourite stays in Bali!
Throughout my life, I’ve been privileged to stay at so many beautiful and stunning hotels in countries all over the world.
